भगवान् भगहानन्दी वनमाली हलायुध: । आदित्यो ज्योतिरादित्य: सहिष्णुर्गतिसत्तम:
bhagavān bhagahānandī vanamālī halāyudhaḥ | ādityo jyotirādityaḥ sahiṣṇur gatisattamaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。彼はバガヴァーン（至福の主）—神聖なる徳を具え、また授ける御方。バガハーとして、信徒の愛を深めるためにその富を奪うこともある。アーナンディ（至上の安楽）、ヴァナマーリー（森の花鬘を戴く者）、ハラーユダ（鋤を武器とする者、バララーマ）、アーディティヤ（ヴァーマナとして）、ジョーティラーディティヤ（太陽に宿る光輝）、サヒシュヌ（あらゆる相反を耐え忍ぶ者）、そしてガティサत्तマ（万有の最高の帰依処にして究極の到達点）である。
