Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | anirviṇṇaḥ sthaviṣṭho 'bhūd dharmayūpo mahāmakhaḥ | nakṣatranemir nakṣatrī kṣamaḥ kṣāmaḥ samīhanaḥ ||

Translation

ビーシュマは言った。「彼は沈鬱と変転を離れ、広大なる宇宙相に安住する。生まれざる者にして、ダルマの柱、そして大いなる供犠そのもの。彼は星宿のめぐりの要（かなめ）であり、星々の主—月である。あらゆる事に堪能で、諸世界の寄りかかる不動の地であり、創造と存在の秩序のために意志し、働きかける者である。」
