य इदं शृणुयान्नित्यं यश्चवापि परिकीर्तयेत् । नाशुभं प्राप्तुयात् किंचित् सोअमुत्रेह च मानव:
ya idaṁ śṛṇuyān nityaṁ yaś cāpi parikīrtayet | nāśubhaṁ prāpnuyāt kiñcit so 'mutreha ca mānavaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「この讃歌を常に聴く者、また日々これを誦し、唱え広める者は、いかなる不吉にも遭わない—この世においても、かの世においても。」この教えは、信愛をもって聴聞し誦唱することの護りと浄化の力を示し、不断の憶念を、現世と来世を守る実践の規律として説く。
