सत्त्ववान् सात्त्विक: सत्य: सत्यधर्मपरायण: । अभिप्राय: प्रियाहों5र्ह: प्रियकृत् प्रीतिवर्धन:
sattvavān sāttvikaḥ satyaḥ satyadharmaparāyaṇaḥ | abhiprāyaḥ priyāhaḥ arhaḥ priyakṛt prītivardhanaḥ ||
ビーシュマは言った。「彼は内なる力と卓越を具え、サットヴァの性を持つ。彼は真実そのものであり、真実を語り、ダルマに堅く立つ。彼は愛する者たちの慕い求める至上の目的であり、最も愛しい供物を捧げるにふさわしく、万人に礼拝されるべき方。帰依者の喜ぶことをなし、彼を愛する者の愛をいよいよ増し育てる。」
