Shloka 45

भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival

सनत्कुमारप्रमुखास्तिष्ठन्ति तपसान्विता: । तस्मात्‌ स वाग्मी धर्मज्ञो नमस्यो द्विजपुज्रवा:

sanatkumārapramukhās tiṣṭhanti tapasānvitāḥ | tasmāt sa vāgmī dharmajño namasyo dvijapuṅgavaḥ ||

サナトクマーラをはじめとする最勝の聖仙たちは、苦行(タパス)を具えて住し続ける。ゆえに、二度生まれし者のうち最上なる者よ、雄弁にしてダルマを知り尽くすその主は、深き敬礼に値する。遍く一切に満ちる至上者への帰依と礼拝は、最高のダルマの成就へと導き、また主によって生み出されたサナトクマーラらの聖仙は、世の安寧のため常に苦行に没入しているのだから、常に彼—ヴァースデーヴァ—に合掌して礼拝すべきである。
