दीनान्धकृपणान्‌ दृष्टवा भिक्षुकानतिथीनपि । याच्यमाना निवर्तन्ते जिह्वालोभसमन्विता:

Transliteration

dīnāndhakṛpaṇān dṛṣṭvā bhikṣukān atithīn api | yācyamānā nivartante jihvālobhasamanvitāḥ ||

Translation

彼らは、貧しき者、盲なる者、困窮する者——乞食はもとより、客人でさえ——を見るや背を向ける。たとえ懇願されても、舌の欲に貪り、食を与えない。
