सर्वभूतदया धर्मो न चैकग्रामवासिता । आशापाशविमोक्षश्न शस्यते मोक्षकाड्क्षिणाम्‌

Transliteration

sarvabhūtadayā dharmo na caikagrāmavāsitā | āśāpāśavimokṣaś ca śasyate mokṣakāṅkṣiṇām ||

Translation

マヘーシュヴァラは言った。解脱を求める者にとって、あらゆる生きとし生けるものへの慈悲こそ真のダルマである。その求道者は一つの村や定まった住処に閉じこもってはならず、希望と渇愛の鎖を断ち切るよう努めねばならない。これこそモークシャを希求する者において称えられることである。
