Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
द्वैपायनप्रभूतयस्तथा चेमे तपोधना: । ऋषय: सुव्रता दान्ता: शृण्वन्तु गदतस्तव
dvaipāyanaprabhūtayas tathā ceme tapodhanāḥ | ṛṣayaḥ suvratā dāntāḥ śṛṇvantu gadatas tava ||
ビーシュマは言った。「この賢仙たち――その中でも द्वैपायन（ヴィヤーサ）を筆頭として――また、苦行に富む修行者たち、すぐれた誓戒を守り自制する者たちが、あなたの語るところを聴聞するように。」
