प्रजा विवर्धते चास्य अक्षयं चोपतिष्ठति । यही श्राद्धकी विधि बतायी गयी है
prajā vivardhate cāsya akṣayaṃ copatiṣṭhati |
ビーシュマは語った。この定められたシュラーダ（śrāddha）の作法に従えば、その家系は栄え、尽きることなき繁栄が常に寄り添う。かかる遵守はダルマの衰滅を防ぎ、祖霊（Pitṛ）をつねに歓喜し満足させ、子孫を減ずることなく増し広げるのである。
