दत्तानकुशलैरर्थान् मनीषी संजिजीविषु: । प्राप्प वर्तयसे नूनं तेनासि हरिण: कृश:
dattān akuśalair arthān manīṣī saṃjijīviṣuḥ | prāpya vartayase nūnaṃ tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ ||
婆羅門は言った。「おまえは賢いのに、ただ生き長らえようとして、技も見識もない者が与える財を受け取り、それだけに頼って暮らしている。ゆえに鹿よ、おまえは艶を失い、やせ衰えたのだ。」
