इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि कीटोपाख्याने अष्टादशाधिकशततमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें कीड़ेका उपाख्यानविषयक एक सौ अठारहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi kīṭopākhyāne aṣṭādaśādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
かくして『シュリー・マハーバーラタ』「アヌシャーサナ・パルヴァ」—とりわけ「布施の法（ダーナ・ダルマ）」の部—において、「虫／蠕虫の物語」（キータ・ウパーキャーナ）はここに結び、もって第百十八章は完結する。この奥書は、施しの倫理的・宗教的価値を中心とする教説単位の終結を告げる。
