मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
भोगवांस्तेजसा युक्तो वैश्वानरसमप्रभ:
bhogavāṁs tejasā yukto vaiśvānarasamaprabhaḥ | rudrāṇāṁ ca tathā lokaṁ brahmalokaṁ ca gacchati ||
ビーシュマは言った。享楽と繁栄に恵まれ、霊的な光輝と結びつき—宇宙の火ヴァイシュヴァーナラのごとく燦然と輝く—その者は高き世界に至る。すなわちルドラの世界、さらにはブラフマーの世界へも赴く。ここでは、光明の自制と神聖へ向かう行いが、世の快楽にとどまらず、より高次の存在状態と神聖秩序との交わりへ導くと説かれている。

The verse teaches that when enjoyment (bhoga) is accompanied by inner radiance and disciplined spiritual power (tejas), one’s life becomes divinely luminous and yields elevated spiritual results—culminating in attainment of higher realms such as Rudraloka and Brahmaloka.
