वीणानां वल्लकीनां च वेणूनां च विशाम्पते । सुघोषैर्मधुरै: शब्द: सुप्त: स प्रतिबोध्यते
vīṇānāṁ vallakīnām ca veṇūnāṁ ca viśāmpate | sughoṣair madhuraiḥ śabdaḥ suptaḥ sa pratibodhyate prajānātha ||
アンギラスは言った。「おお、民の主よ、人々を治める王よ——ヴィーナー（vīṇā）、ヴァッラキー（vallakī）、そして笛（veṇu）の甘く旋律的な音と快い余韻によって、眠りに伏す者はやさしく目覚めさせられる。」
