वाजपेयेषु दशसु प्रादां तेष्वपि चाप्यहम् । इनके अतिरिक्त भी जो वस्तुएँ वेदोंमें दक्षिणाके अवयवरूपसे बतायी गयी हैं, उन सबको मैंने दस वाजपेय यज्ञोंका अनुष्ठान करके दान किया था
vājapeyeṣu daśasu prādāṃ teṣv api cāpy aham |
バギーラタは言った。「十度のヴァージャペーヤ祭（Vājapeya）において、わたしは施しを行った。さらにその祭儀において、ヴェーダがダクシナー（dakṣiṇā、祭儀の謝礼供物）を成す要素として説く追加の品々も、余すところなく授けたのだ。」この言葉は、経典にかなう完全な布施—部分ではなく全き履行—を示している。
