धृतराष्ट उवाच निर्मुक्ता: सर्वसंगैयें कृतात्मानो यतव्रता: । अध्यात्मयोगसंस्थानैर्युक्ता: स्वर्गगतिं गता:

Transliteration

dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca

nirmuktāḥ sarvasaṅgaiḥ kṛtātmāno yatavratāḥ |

adhyātmayogasaṃsthānaiḥ yuktāḥ svargagatiṃ gatāḥ ||

Translation

ドリタラーシュトラは言った。「大聖仙よ！ あらゆる執着を離れ、自らの心を制し、戒めの誓願を規律正しく守り、内なる知とヨーガの行に安住するサットヴァの人々—天界への道を得た者たち—のみが、功徳に満ちた梵天の世界、聖なるブラフマローカへ赴く。そこでは、あなたはドリタラーシュトラを見ることはできぬ。」
