अदृष्टेनाथ भुगुणा भूतले भरतर्षभ । भरतश्रेष्ठ! भूगु नहुषको दिखायी नहीं दे रहे थे। उनके इस प्रकार शाप देनेपर नहुष सर्प होकर पृथ्वीपर गिरने लगे
adṛṣṭenātha bhṛguṇā bhūtale bharatarṣabha | tasmād ayaṃ punaḥ śakro devarājye ’bhiṣicyatām ||
ビーシュマは言った。「おお、バラタ族の雄牛よ。賢仙ブリグが地上に見えなくなったゆえ、シャクラ（インドラ）を再び諸天の王権へと灌頂し、即位させよ。王なくしては、いかなる地にも秩序ある営みは成り立たぬ。ゆえに、かつてのインドラを再びデーヴァの主の座へ戻すがよい。」
