Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
ज्वलन्त्यहरहो वेश्म याश्चास्य गृहदेवता: । ता: पूज्या भूतिकामेन प्रसृताग्रप्रदायिना
jvalanty ahar-aho veśma yāś cāsya gṛhadevatāḥ | tāḥ pūjyā bhūtikāmena prasṛtāgrapradāyinā ||
日ごとに家は輝く。それは家を司る家神たちによって支えられているからである。ゆえに、福祉と繁栄を願う者は、食の最初の分を先に供えて、家の神々を絶えず敬い奉るべきである。
