Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
इदमस्ति गृहे महमिति नित्यं निवेदयेत् । ते यद् वदेयुस्तत् कुर्यादिति धर्मों विधीयते
idam asti gṛhe mama iti nityaṃ nivedayet | te yad vadeyus tat kuryād iti dharmo vidhīyate |
ヴァーユデーヴァは言った。「人はつねにへりくだって『これは我が家にございます』と申し述べよ。そしてその長老や客人が言うところに従い、そのとおりに行え—これがダルマの定めである。倫理の上では、家に常住しない者をアティティ（atithi、客）とみなす。ゆえに師、父、信頼すべき友、そして客に対して、家にあるものを常に差し出し受納を請い、ついで彼らの指図どおりに正確に行え。かかるもてなしと敬意、そして正しい導きへの服従によって、ダルマは保たれる。」
