Transliteration

vṛtra ity abhivikhyāto yas tu rājan mahāsuraḥ | maṇimān nāma rājarṣiḥ sa babhūva narādhipaḥ ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「王よ、『ヴリトラ（Vṛtra）』の名で名高いその強大なアスラは、のちに地上で人間の統治者となり、『マニマーン（Maṇimān）』という王仙として称えられた。」
