Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
सर्वलक्षणसम्पूर्णा वैदूर्यमणिसंनिभा । पज्चानां पुरुषेन्द्राणां चित्तप्रमथनी रह:,वह समस्त शुभ लक्षणोंसे सम्पन्न तथा वैदूर्य मणिके समान कान्तिमती थी। एकान्तमें रहकर वह पाँचों पुरुषप्रवर पाण्डवोंके मनको मुग्ध किये रहती थी
sarvalakṣaṇasampūrṇā vaidūryamaṇisaṃnibhā | pañcānāṃ puruṣendrāṇāṃ cittapramathanī rahaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「彼女はあらゆる吉祥の相を具え、猫眼石（ヴァイドゥーリヤ）のごとく輝いていた。人目を避けてなお、五人の最上の男—パーンダヴァの王子たち—の心を絶えず魅了し、揺り動かしたのである。」
