संचिन्त्यैवं तदा राजा विचार्य च पुन: पुनः । अमोघत्वं च विज्ञाय रेतसो राजसत्तम:
sañcintyāivaṃ tadā rājā vicārya ca punaḥ punaḥ | amoghatvaṃ ca vijñāya retaso rājasattamaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。王はそのように思い、幾度も幾度も熟慮した。落ちた種子も必ずしも無益ではないと悟り、諸王の中の最勝者はそれを成就させようと決意した――自ら放たれた精力も、妃ギリカーの受胎の時も、いずれも空しくせぬために。
