तदेतददभुतं ब्रह्मज्छा्डकाणामनामयम्‌ | कीर्तयस्वाग्निसम्मर्दे कथं ते न विनाशिता:

Transliteration

tad etad adbhutaṁ brahma śāṇḍakānām anāmayam | kīrtayasva agni-sammarde kathaṁ te na vināśitāḥ ||

Translation

ジャナメージャヤは言った。「ブラーフマナよ、これはまことに驚くべきことだ。あの恐るべき大火の中で、シャーンダカたちが無事であったとは。どうして、あの大炎の圧し潰すような騒乱のただ中で、彼らは滅びなかったのか、語ってくれ。」
