इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत आदिपव॑के अन्तर्गत मयदर्शनपर्वमें मयदानवकी रक्षाविषयक दो सौ सत्ताईसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārata ādiparvake antargata mayadarśanaparvame mayadānavakī rakṣāviṣayaka dviśata-saptaviṁśatitam adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
かくして、尊き『マハーバーラタ』アーディ・パルヴァに属する「マヤダルシャナ」篇、ダーナヴァのマヤを守り（命を赦し）たることを説く第二百二十七章は終わる。結びの言葉は道義を示す——破壊と争いのただ中にあっても、節制と、庇護を求める者を守ることは重き徳として掲げられるのである。
