वैशम्पायन उवाच तच्छुत्वा मन्दपालस्तु वचस्तेषां दिवौकसाम्‌ । क्व नु शीघ्रमपत्यं स्याद्‌ बहुलं चेत्यचिन्तयत्‌

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | tac chrutvā mandapālas tu vacas teṣāṃ divaukasām | kva nu śīghram apatyaṃ syād bahulaṃ cety acintayat ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「ジャナメージャヤよ、神々のその言葉を聞くと、マンダパーラは深く思案し、『どこへ行けば、速やかに多くの子を得られるのか』と考えた。」
