Transliteration

dṛṣṭvā nivāritān devān mādhavenārjunena ca

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。神々がマーダヴァ（クリシュナ）とアルジュナによって制せられ――進路を阻まれ――たのを見て、事の趨勢はこの二人の力と決意にかかるものとなった。神々の勢力すら、彼らの一致した目的の前に退かざるを得なかったのである。
