दृष्टवा निवारितान् देवान् माधवेनार्जुनेन च
dṛṣṭvā nivāritān devān mādhavenārjunena ca
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。神々がマーダヴァ(クリシュナ)とアルジュナによって制せられ――進路を阻まれ――たのを見て、事の趨勢はこの二人の力と決意にかかるものとなった。神々の勢力すら、彼らの一致した目的の前に退かざるを得なかったのである。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights human (and divinely guided) agency: even powerful forces can be checked when dharmic resolve, strategic restraint, and united effort converge—here embodied by Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa) and Arjuna.
