अथापरे शरैरविंद्धा क्ष॒क्रवेगेरितास्तथा । वेलामिव समासाद्य व्यतिष्ठचन्नमितौजस:

Transliteration

athāpare śarair avinddhāḥ śakravegeritās tathā | velām iva samāsādya vyatiṣṭhacan namitaujasaḥ ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。ほかの者どももまた—矢に貫かれ、円盤の疾走する勢いに揺さぶられて—海の波が岸に打ち寄せてそこで止まるように、境界へ至って立ちすくんだ。彼らの力は挫かれ、もはや一歩も前へ進めなかった。
