कालस्य महतो राजंस्तस्य वाक्यं स्वयम्भुव: । अनुस्मृत्य जगामाथ पुनरेव पितामहम्‌

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: kālasya mahato rājan tasya vākyam svayambhuvaḥ | anusmṛtya jagāmātha punar eva pitāmaham ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。王よ、長き時が過ぎたのち、自在に生まれし創造主（ブラフマー）の言葉を思い起こして、彼は再びピターマハ（ブラフマー）のもとへ赴いた。すなわち、先に授けられた神聖な指示が然るべき時に想起され、それに従って行動が起こされたのである。
