दुपद उवाच अधर्मो5यं मम मतो विरुद्धो लोकवेदयो: । न होका विद्यते पत्नी बहूनां द्विजसत्तम
dupada uvāca: adharmo ’yaṃ mama mato viruddho lokavedayoḥ | na hy ekā vidyate patnī bahūnāṃ dvijasattama ||
ドゥパダは言った。「婆羅門の中の最勝者よ、私の見立てではこれはアダルマである。世の習いにもヴェーダにも相反するからだ。多くの男が一人の妻を共有するなどという行いは、どこにも存在しない。」
