तापयामास तॉल्लोकान्‌ सदेवासुरमानुषान्‌ । तपसोग्रेण महता नन्दयिष्यन्‌ पितामहान्‌

Transliteration

tāpayāmāsa tāl lokān sadevāsuramānuṣān | tapasogreṇa mahatā nandayiṣyan pitāmahān ||

Translation

ヴァシシュタは言った。「祖霊を喜ばせようとして、彼はきわめて苛烈で大いなる苦行を行い、そのタパスの灼熱によって、神々・アスラ・人間を含むすべての世界を焼き焦がした。」
