Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse
प्रतिजग्राह तां कन्यां महर्षिस्तपतीं तदा । वसिष्ठो5थ विसृष्टस्तु पुनरेवाजगाम ह
pratijagrāha tāṃ kanyāṃ maharṣis tapatīṃ tadā | vasiṣṭho 'tha visṛṣṭas tu punar evājagāma ha ||
そのとき大聖仙ヴァシシュタは乙女タパティを受け取った。しかるべく暇を賜ると、彼は彼女を伴って再びその地へ赴いた。そこには、名声高くクル族の第一たるサンヴァラナ王が、恋慕に心を奪われ、黙してタパティを胸中に思い続けながら座していた。
