Vasiṣṭhasya śokaḥ, Vipāśā–Śatadrū-nāmākaraṇam, Kalmāṣapādasya bhaya-prasaṅgaḥ (Ādi Parva 167)
स च पुत्रो महावीर्यो महातेजा महाबल: । इष्यते यद्विधो राजन् भविता ते तथाविध:
sa ca putro mahāvīryo mahātejā mahābalaḥ | iṣyate yadvidho rājan bhavitā te tathāvidhaḥ ||
バラモンは言った。「王よ、この供犠によって汝が望む子は、まさにその望みのとおり授けられよう。その子は大いなる勇武を備え、赫々たる威光を放ち、並外れた力を持つであろう。」
