Power and capability do not justify immediate retaliation; dharmic authority and self-restraint can override personal rage, especially when the ruler (Yudhiṣṭhira) refuses to sanction violence.
Bhīma, burning with anger at Duryodhana, declares that he could kill him along with his allies, but Duryodhana survives because Yudhiṣṭhira does not permit his slaying; the scene highlights Bhīma’s frustration under dharmic restraint.
