भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः
Bhīma’s Search for Water and the Forest Halt
शरैनननाविधैस्तूर्ण पार्थ संछाद्य सर्वश: । सिंहनादं मुखै: कृत्वा समयुध्यन्त पाण्डवम्
śarair nanāvidhais tūrṇaṃ pārtha saṃchādya sarvaśaḥ | siṃhanādaṃ mukhaiḥ kṛtvā samayudhyanta pāṇḍavam ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。彼の矢に傷つけられたパンチャーラの戦士たちと勇士サンジャヤは、たちまち種々の矢を雨のごとく放ち、アルジュナ（パールタ）を四方から覆い尽くした。獅子の咆哮を上げて迫り、パーンダヴァに正面から斬り結ばんとした—傷を負っても退かず、さらに力を奮い起こして応じる、戦場の武勇の姿である。
