द्रोण उदाच प्रयतिष्ये तथा कर्तु यथा नान्यो धरनुर्धर: । त्वत्समो भविता लोके सत्यमेतद्‌ ब्रवीमि ते

Transliteration

droṇa uvāca prayatiṣye tathā kartuṁ yathā nānyo dhanuḥdharaḥ | tvatsamo bhavitā loke satyam etad bravīmi te ||

Translation

ドローナは言った。「この世において汝に並ぶ弓の名手が他に現れぬよう、我はそのように汝を鍛え上げるため努めよう。これは我が汝に告げる真実である。」
