सम्मार्जितं सौधकारैश्षित्रकारैश्व चित्रितम्‌ । दीर्घिकाभिश्न पूर्णाभिस्तथा पद्माकरैरपि

Transliteration

sammārjitaṃ saudhakāraiḥ citrakāraiś ca citritam | dīrghikābhiś ca pūrṇābhis tathā padmākarair api ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。遊楽の園と遊戯殿は宮殿造りの職人によって隅々まで掃き清められ、画師によって絵で飾られていた。水を満たした深い池や井戸、そして蓮池がその美をいっそう引き立てる。咲き誇る蓮に覆われた水面はとりわけ麗しく、季節に応じて咲いては散った花々が地を覆い、花の絨毯のようであった。
