Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)
सर्वकामै: सुपूर्णानि पताकोच्छायवन्ति च । तत्र संजनयामास नानागाराण्यनेकश:
sarvakāmaiḥ supūrṇāni patākocchāyavanti ca | tatra sañjanayāmāsa nānāgārāṇy anekaśaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。その地の住まいは、望みうるあらゆる備えと安楽に満ち、また高く掲げられた旗幟によって影を落とし飾られていた。そこに彼は、さまざまな種類の建物を数多く造らせ、繁栄と秩序、そしてもてなしの心が目に見えるかたちで整えられていた。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Material abundance is presented as meaningful when it supports orderly living and hospitality—resources and planning are shown as instruments for social welfare and dignified conduct rather than mere display.
The narrator describes a well-appointed settlement or residence-complex: houses are filled with desired provisions, marked by tall banners, and many different structures/rooms are constructed in large numbers to accommodate varied needs.
