Adhyāya 125: Raṅga-pradarśana — Arjuna’s Entry and Astric Demonstration (रङ्गप्रदर्शनम्)
saha putrais tataḥ kuntī mādrīputrau ca pāṇḍavau | ājagmuḥ sahitās tatra yatra rājā tathāgataḥ ||
The verse highlights dharma in the face of death: family members must unite, acknowledge impermanence, and assume responsibilities—especially the protection and rightful guidance of heirs when a king has died.
Kuntī arrives with her sons, and the two sons of Mādrī also come together to the spot where King Pāṇḍu lies dead, marking the immediate aftermath of his passing.
