Shloka 196

उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

सूर्यं नित्यमुपस्थाय सम्यगारोग्यमाप्नुयात् नदीतोयेन सम्पूर्णं घटं संस्पृश्य शोभनम्

sūryaṃ nityamupasthāya samyagārogyamāpnuyāt nadītoyena sampūrṇaṃ ghaṭaṃ saṃspṛśya śobhanam

日々太陽神に礼拝し奉れば、円満なる健やかさを得る。河水を満たした麗しき器に触れること(浄めの作法)により、吉祥となり、礼拝にふさわしく心整う—戒律ある修行によって、パティたるシヴァへと進むに適う。
