अङ्गुष्ठेन विना कर्म कृतं तदफलं यतः जपयज्ञ शृणुष्व सर्वयज्ञेभ्यो जपयज्ञो विशिष्यते

aṅguṣṭhena vinā karma kṛtaṃ tadaphalaṃ yataḥ japayajña śṛṇuṣva sarvayajñebhyo japayajño viśiṣyate

正しい親指の印契なくして行う行為は果を結ばない。ゆえにジャパ・ヤジュニャ(唱念の供犠)を聴け。あらゆる供犠の中で、ジャパ・ヤジュニャが最も勝れている。
