वर्षमेकं न भुञ्जति कन्या वा विधवापि वा वर्षान्ते प्रतिमां कृत्वा पूर्वोक्तविधिना ततः

Transliteration

varṣamekaṃ na bhuñjati kanyā vā vidhavāpi vā varṣānte pratimāṃ kṛtvā pūrvoktavidhinā tataḥ

Translation

乙女—あるいは寡婦であっても—は、食を慎む誓戒を満一年守るべきである。年の終わりに聖像を作り、先に説かれた作法に従って儀礼を行い、パティ（主）たるシヴァにバクティをもって捧げ、パシュ（個我の魂）を縛るパーシャ（束縛）をゆるめていただく。
