च्रेअतिओन् ओफ़् अ लिङ्ग कृत्वा कनीयसं लिङ्गं स्नाप्य चन्दनवारिणा चैत्रमासादि विप्रेन्द्राः शिवलिङ्गव्रतं चरेत्

Transliteration

creation of a liṅga kṛtvā kanīyasaṃ liṅgaṃ snāpya candanavāriṇā caitramāsādi viprendrāḥ śivaliṅgavrataṃ caret

Translation

小さきリンガを作り、そのリンガを白檀を含ませた水で沐浴させよ。おお、婆羅門の中の最勝者よ、チャイトラ月より「シヴァ・リンガの誓戒（vrata）」を修すべし。規律ある礼拝により、パシュ（束縛された魂）はパティ（シヴァ）と相応する。
