Pāśupata-vrata Māhātmya: Dvādaśa-Liṅga Mahāvrata, Month-wise Dravya, and Pūjā-krama
आश्विने चैव विप्रेन्द्राः गोमेदकमयं शुभम् प्रवालेनैव कार्तिक्यां तथा वै मार्गशीर्षके
āśvine caiva viprendrāḥ gomedakamayaṃ śubham pravālenaiva kārtikyāṃ tathā vai mārgaśīrṣake
おお婆羅門の中の最勝者たちよ。アーシュヴィナ月には、ゴーメーダ(ヘソナイト)より成る吉祥の供物を捧げよ。カールッティカ月には同様にプラヴァーラ(珊瑚)を捧げ、さらにマールガシールシャ月にも、定められた月々の行に従って捧げるがよい。そうすれば、束縛された魂パシュ(paśu)は、シヴァ礼拝を支える功徳を得、主パティ(Pati)の恩寵により、縛めパーシャ(pāśa)がゆるめられる。
