Shivamurti–Pratishtha Phala: Shivalaya-Nirmana, Kshetra-Mahatmya, Tirtha-Snana, and Mandala-Vidhi
एवं वः कथितं सर्वं प्राकृतं मण्डलं परम् अतो वक्ष्यामि विप्रेन्द्राः सर्वकामार्थसाधनम्
evaṃ vaḥ kathitaṃ sarvaṃ prākṛtaṃ maṇḍalaṃ param ato vakṣyāmi viprendrāḥ sarvakāmārthasādhanam
このようにして、至上なるプラークリタのマンダラを、汝らに余すところなく説き示した。いま、婆羅門の中の最勝者たちよ、シヴァ礼拝の道において、あらゆる願いと目的を成就させる法を説こう。
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages at Naimisharanya)
It marks a transition: after defining the prākṛta (outer, ritual-physical) maṇḍala used in Śiva-pūjā, the text promises the next teaching as the effective means (sādhana) for attaining all legitimate aims through devotion to Pati (Śiva).
By distinguishing the prākṛta maṇḍala (outer support) from the higher accomplishing sādhana, it implies Śiva as Pati—the transcendent Lord who grants artha and kāma and ultimately loosens pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (soul) when worship is properly oriented.
Ritual preparation via maṇḍala-vidhi is highlighted as the external discipline that supports the deeper sādhana—aligned with Pāśupata orientation where outer purity and ordered worship become a gateway to inner purification and grace.
