Shloka 57

वंशानुवर्णनम् — सात्वतवंशः, स्यमन्तक-प्रसङ्गः, कृष्णावतारः, शिवप्रसादः (पाशुपतयोगः)

निवेदयामास तदा जातां कन्यां सुलक्षणाम् अस्यास्तवाष्टमो गर्भो देवक्याः कंस सुव्रत

nivedayāmāsa tadā jātāṃ kanyāṃ sulakṣaṇām asyāstavāṣṭamo garbho devakyāḥ kaṃsa suvrata

そのとき彼は、瑞相そなわる女児が生まれたと報告し、こう言った。「おおカンサよ、誓いに堅き者よ、これは汝のためのデーヴァキーの第八の懐胎(果)である。」
