FAQs

It frames śāstra-knowledge as something preserved through an unbroken lineage, implying that correct Linga-pūjā and Shaiva practice must be received through authorized transmission rather than mere personal invention.

Shiva-tattva is implied as the stabilizing Pati-principle: even when anger (a pasha-like disturbance) appears in the narrative, the deeper order—continuity of dharma and transmission of liberating knowledge—remains protected.

The verse highlights guru-paramparā as the practical discipline: receiving śāstric instruction that supports Pāśupata-oriented sādhana and correct ritual observance, ensuring practice remains aligned with Shaiva Siddhānta principles.
