यशसस्तपसश्चैव क्रोधो नाशकरः स्मृतः अलं हि राक्षसैर् दग्धैर् दीनैर् अनपराधिभिः
yaśasastapasaścaiva krodho nāśakaraḥ smṛtaḥ alaṃ hi rākṣasair dagdhair dīnair anaparādhibhiḥ
怒りは、名声と苦行(tapas)の双方を滅ぼすものと説かれる。もう十分だ——罪なきままに惨めな羅刹たちを、これ以上焼き尽くしてはならぬ。
