FAQs

It frames worship within Shiva’s cosmic order: yugas and manvantaras are measured cycles within creation, while the Linga signifies Pati (Shiva) who remains constant as these cycles turn.

By emphasizing measured time (years, yugas, manvantaras), it implicitly distinguishes Shiva-tattva as the transcendent ground—Pati—who is not limited by temporal calculation even while governing it.

No specific rite is prescribed; the takeaway is contemplative: Pashu (the soul) practices discernment (viveka) by seeing time-bound cycles as Pasha-like limitation, turning inward to the timeless Pati through Linga-upasana.
