क्षुपदधीचिसंवादः — शिलादतपः, वरसीमा, मेघवाहनकल्पे त्रिदेवसमागमः
कोटिकोटिसहस्राणि अहर्भूतानि यानि वै समतीतानि कल्पानां तावच्छेषापरत्रये

数え尽くせぬ—億の上に億、さらに千々—かくも多くの宇宙の「日」が、カルパとしてすでに過ぎ去った。しかも後に残る三つの時期にも、同じほどがなお成就されねばならぬ。かくして時の量は巡りゆく。されどパティ(シヴァ)は、カルパにも壊滅にも触れられず、ただ独り、すべてのパシュ(衆生)を統べる不縛の主として在り続ける。
