Lord Vishnu (speaking to Garuda/Vinatā-putra)
Concept: Embodiments arise in ordered sequence according to karma, ranging from lower forms to human, deva-state, and finally moksha.
Vedantic Theme: Karma as the regulator of embodiment; higher births are still within samsara; moksha transcends the ladder.
Application: Use human life to reverse karmic momentum through ethical living, devotion, and knowledge rather than seeking only higher rebirths.
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta

This verse states that births and attainments occur in an ordered progression shaped by karma—ranging from lower forms of life up to human, divine states, and ultimately liberation.
It presents the soul’s possible trajectories: repeated embodiment in various forms based on deeds, with dharma elevating one toward deva-status, and deeper spiritual realization culminating in moksha.
Live dharmically—practice ethical conduct, self-restraint, and devotion—so one’s tendencies and actions lead upward rather than toward degrading rebirths.
