Narrator (Purāṇic narration describing Rati’s praise near the Lord)
Concept: Stuti culminates in śaraṇāgati: acknowledging the limits of speech and resting in silent proximity to Bhagavān.
Vedantic Theme: Grace (anugraha) surpasses verbal praise; bhakti matures into quiet abiding (niṣṭhā) near the Lord.
Application: After prayer/chanting, sit briefly in silence (mauna) with the feeling of being ‘near’ the Lord; cultivate humility and reliance on divine protection.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

This verse presents stuti as an act of highest reverence that culminates in seeking the Lord’s continual protection, highlighting devotion as a direct spiritual refuge.
Even in sections often associated with afterlife instruction, the text repeatedly centers the Lord as the ultimate protector; here, praise leads to surrender and abiding near the Divine.
Cultivate regular prayer or recitation with humility—recognizing one’s limits—then act with quiet steadiness (tūṣṇīm), trusting in divine guidance while living ethically.
